Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!  We had a great one, I think.  Except that on Saturday early morning, my handler got both me and my friend Malamar up to do what?  3 jobs that day, mind you!  I was sooo thankful to my handler. GRRRR!

There was this one apartment that was sooo cluttered, I could not believe anyone could maneuver around without knocking something over.  But the tenant understood and asked me and my handler to do the best we can.

Then I went to this young couple's nice little rented home in Winchester, MA.  They were in the process of moving in and wanted to make sure there was not an existing low-level infestation.  It was nice inspecting that house for bed bugs, because the rooms were nice and clean and empty.  The people were so nice to me, I felt like staying with them.  I wouldn't need to work anymore and certainly they would not wake me up on a Saturday morning after Thanksgiving.

Me and Malamar had to get up at 4:30 AM some day this week to do a job here in Worcester.  Would you believe it!  Why can't I do the job while students are coming in and out of the library?  I love them students.  They are so much like me:  young and stubborn and fun!

My handler had to drag me out of my sleeping quarters - I just couldn't wake up.  I hid my face under my paws and tried to make believe I was still asleep.  But she figured me out, especially when I open my left eye to see if I had duped her.

My partner Malamar on the other hand, was up and about as if it was the middle of the day.  She was squirmishing with happiness and anticipation of a new bed bug sniffing job.  Oh Pleaaaaase!
We head over to the U's library at 6:00 AM.  The clock had been set back to normal the night before; we waited and waited for the PCO to appear.  My handler finally called him and would you believe he was still asleep -he  had not adjusted his clock back the night before.  Oh boy!  I could have slept another hour.

Lots of reading areas to sniff out and loads of bookcases too but fortunately, no bed bugs. Aren't bed bugs still asleep in the dark hours of the early morning?  I'll have to ask my handler about that.

Been busy lately.  Sorry for not keeping you posted.  Today my handler went to the Business Expo in Worcester.  She left us for what seemed to be a long time alone, me and my new partner Malamar.  I bayed so hard when she came back.  Oh! I love her so much, woooo woooo woooo....

She generated lots of leads at the Expo, yeah!  I get to sniff out more bed bugs with my new partner.  She is great!  Not quite a beagle, though.  She is a wannabe beagle, yeah right!, what we call a JackaBe, meaning a Jack Russel with some beagle blood mixed in.  Nice try! But she ain't a beagle, hee..hee.

I love her though, we are equally strong and stubborn,  I have to admit.  I tried to be her superior but she jumps so high, I can't compete with that!  She sniffs those bed bugs just as well as I do - damn it!  But I am so glad to have company AND she keeps me in shape.  That dog never quits- she's hyper.  I have already lost a lot of weight because of her- she keeps me agile and fit.  We wrangle a lot but that's a lot of fun!
Oh! Check out this interview my handler did today with Datechguy at the Business Expo
