Well, both dogs did indeed alert to the guest bedroom boxspring. Same target location.
We performed a visual inspection of that corner of the boxspring, the Pest Control Technician and I, and could not find any evidence. Many pest control companies require a visual inspection if the dogs alert. However, in this case, one bed bug could be hidden out of human sight. The fact that each dog displayed an obvious alert at the same spot about 15 minutes apart from each other’s inspection proved conclusive.
