Nicki and Malamar were tasked to inspect 11 rooms of this community shelter near Boston.  The manager had found a bed bug on a standing lampshade in the downstairs hallway.
We immediately went to work and upon inspecting the first room, both dogs alerted to a bed.
I then lifted the blankets and upon close examination found clusters of bed bugs in all stages of development near the tag of the mattress encasement.
We then proceeded to all other bedrooms and sure enough they alerted in every bedroom.  And we confirmed the beagles’ alerts with a visual inspection.  It was obvious that the facility had a major re-infestation, even though they had the whole house heat-treated around 6 weeks ago.
Great job, Nicki and Malamar!
